The beginning

Why Wazi Empire exists

Wazi Empire began with a simple frustration that many Muslim women in the United States know all too well: finding a hijab that is truly comfortable for daily wear — not just beautiful in photos — was unnecessarily hard.

"Most hijabs available in the USA were either too stiff, too sheer, too hot, or too cheap. We deserved better."

Our founder, based in Atlantic City, New Jersey, spent over a year testing fabrics sourced from premium textile mills. The mission was specific: find materials that are breathable enough for summer, warm enough for winter, hypoallergenic for sensitive skin, and structured enough to hold their shape beautifully throughout a full day.

After countless samples and testing sessions with real women across the USA, Wazi Empire launched its first collection — centred around the now-signature Bamboo Modal Hijab. The response was immediate and clear: Muslim women had been waiting for exactly this.

Today, Wazi Empire ships across the entire United States from our base in New Jersey. Every collection we release passes through the same rigorous quality checks that defined our very first product. That commitment to excellence has never changed.
