The right hijab fabric changes how a hijab feels, drapes and stays in place. Wazi Empire works with four hijab fabric types: modal, cotton jersey, chiffon and the stretch blend used in instant hijabs. Each one suits a different kind of day.
Modal hijabs are soft and breathable with a fluid drape, which makes modal the easy choice for everyday wear. The same fabric also comes with a pattern in our printed hijabs. A jersey hijab is a stretchy cotton hijab that is fully opaque and grips without pins, so it suits beginners, busy days and sports.
Chiffon hijabs are the lightest and airiest, a natural fit for events and hot weather. An instant hijab is a polyester and spandex blend sewn as one piece, so it pulls on in seconds with nothing to wrap.
Modal, jersey and chiffon hijabs come as a set with a free hijab cap. Printed and instant hijabs are sold as the scarf only.
There is no single best hijab material — it depends on your climate and routine. For hot weather, chiffon and modal let air move. For a pin-free everyday hijab, cotton jersey is the easiest.
