We choose every fabric for one thing: comfort that lasts a full day. Our textiles are sourced from manufacturers overseas, then packed and shipped to you from our facility in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Modal

Modal fibers are finer than cotton. That is what gives the fabric a smooth surface, a fluid drape, and enough breathability that heat does not build up underneath.

Chiffon

Cotton Jersey

A knit fabric with natural stretch and surface grip. It is the most forgiving fabric to wear and the easiest to learn on.

Printed Modal

The same modal fabric with a pattern applied to it. Because modal holds dye deeply, prints read sharp rather than washed out, and the pattern moves with the drape instead of sitting flat.

• Prints run through both sides, so there is no wrong side when you wrap it
• Digitally printed, so the pattern is consistent from one hijab to the next
• Sold as the scarf only — a hijab cap can be added separately

What Comes With Every Set

Every modal, jersey and chiffon hijab ships with a free hijab cap in a coordinating shade. The cap is what stops a smooth fabric sliding back, so it belongs with the scarf rather than sold separately. Printed modal and instant styles are scarf-only, and the product page says so.

Our rectangular hijabs measure 70.9 × 27.6 inches (180 × 70 cm), which gives full chest-length coverage in a single layer and makes each one practical as a prayer hijab. Instant hijabs are one size, cut to fit most adults.

Caring for Each Fabric

• Modal: hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent. Press the water out, never wring. Dry flat or hang in the shade. No dryer.
• Chiffon: hand wash in cold water, or use a mesh bag on a delicate cycle. Hang to dry in the shade.
• Jersey: gentle machine cycle in cold water with a low spin. Hang to dry.
• Printed modal: hand wash in cold water, dry in the shade, and iron on the reverse side if needed to protect the print.
• Instant hijabs: hand wash in cold water, dry flat, no direct heat on any beading.
